It sounds like a simple premise. You give them $30 and they will get you thousands of dollars of scholarships in return. We have one quick question however. Why pay money to get money? You should be getting money to go to school in the forms of scholarships. These scholarships can be found for free. Do not give money to some service that will match you up. They might not even come through with real scholarships and then you are out some money. You can find scholarships for free. Do not rely on some service to help you because it may not be reliable.
Some companies will promise you a guarantee. Well, we already told you not to pay a fee for a scholarship, so that is out. What makes you think that they would even give you money back? Again, you may not be out some money and not have anything to show for it. Let them know that if they were truly doing their job then they would help you out for free.
For what? Have you ever received mail from a scholarship company stating this? You might not have even signed up for a scholarship but they are letting you know you are a finalist. That does not make any sense. This is when you should stay alert. Legit scholarships will have people knocking down their door to get a hold of them. They do not need to seek out applicants. If they are begging you to take their scholarship then there is probably something wrong and you will probably have to pay some sort of fee. It is also important that you never, ever give away any bank account information when applying for a scholarship. They will not need this information until that have deemed you the winner, and you choose to have the money directly deposited, if this is even an option for you.
